7K houses to rise in Tarlac under PBBM’s Expanded 4PH Program
More than 7,000 affordable houses are set to benefit low-income families in Tarlac province under President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.’s flagship Expanded Pambansang Pabahay para sa Pilipino (4PH) Program.
Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development (DHSUD) Secretary Jose Ramon Aliling and Pag-IBIG Fund Chief Executive Officer Marilene Acosta on Wednesday led a site inspection of Kaia Homes, a 49-hectare horizontal housing development located in Barangay Armenia, Tarlac City.
During the inspection, the officials toured the project’s model units and ongoing construction, underscoring the government’s continuing efforts to provide decent, affordable, and sustainable housing opportunities for more Filipino families.
Secretary Aliling said the project demonstrates President Marcos Jr.’s commitment to accelerating housing production by strengthening partnerships with private developers.
Kaia Homes’ “Naya” units include 2 floors, with a floor area of 32 square meters and a lot area of 30 square meters for inner units, and 41 square meters for corner lots, with each unit having 2 bedrooms, 1 toilet and bath, a spacious living area for a growing family, and ample space for motorcyle/e-bike parking.
The subdivision is likewise designed to promote a vibrant and family-friendly community, with amenities such as playground, a multipurpose covered court, and open spaces where residents can gather and enjoy recreational activities.
Kaia Homes Tarlac is among the numerous horizontal or subdivision-type housing under the Expanded 4PH Program and covered by Pag-IBIG Fund’s subsidized interest rates– making monthly amortization more affordable for homebuyers.
Joining Secretary Aliling during the site inspection were Senior Undersecretary Eduardo Robles Jr., head of the Expanded 4PH-Project Management Office, and other DHSUD and Pag-IBIG Fund officials.
